General Manager / Restaurant Manager | Upmarket Restaurant | Bryanston

We are seeking an experienced General Manager / Restaurant Manager to join a busy, upmarket restaurant based in Bryanston, Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall restaurant operation, leading and developing the team, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the restaurant.

This is a leadership position suited to an experienced hospitality professional who is confident managing a busy, upmarket restaurant environment and has a proven track record of driving team performance and operational excellence.

Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operation
Lead, manage and develop restaurant teams
Maintain exceptional service and guest experience standards

Requirements:

5–6 years' experience in restaurant management
Previous experience in a busy, upmarket restaurant essential
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent communication and guest-relations ability
Strong operational and organisational skills
Proven track record within the hospitality industry
Professional and hands-on management approach
